How long do you keep my information, and what do you do with it when it is no longer needed?

Written records are generally retained for approximately eighteen months in case they are required for audit or compliance purposes, after which they are securely destroyed. Electronic records, including financial information, may be retained for longer periods where required by taxation laws or our accountants.

Use of third-party guest screening services (Good to Book)

In circumstances involving serious breaches of terms and conditions, damage, inappropriate conduct, or behaviour that impacts staff, guests, or property, Sovereign Gold Coast reserves the right to report such incidents to Good to Book. This reporting is intended to help alert other accommodation providers and promote safe and respectful conduct across the hospitality industry. Information shared is limited to what is necessary and handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
