Sovereign on the Gold Coast welcomes special requests — just let us know your needs when booking, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.


Check-In

  • From 14:00 (2:00 PM)
  • Guests must present a valid Government issued photo ID and credit card upon arrival
  • The credit card must match the name on the booking confirmation.
  • If a different person or entity is paying for the booking, please contact reception on +61 7 5579 3888 during AEST business hours to arrange a Credit Card Authorisation form.
  • Please inform us in advance of your estimated arrival time

After-Hours Check-In

  • After-hours check-in is available for arrivals outside reception hours (typically after 6:00 PM)
  • Guests must complete online check-in by close of business one day prior to arrival, including photo ID, credit card (front and back), and acceptance of terms
  • A $35 after-hours check-in fee applies if the above documentation is not completed satisfactorily.
  • Once approved, key collection details will be sent via SMS or email
  • A full ID check will be completed as part of this process // Management has the right to refuse check-in
  • LOCKOUT - For guest's locked out after hours, A $85.00 Fee will apply

Check-Out

  • Prior to 10:00 (10:00 AM)
  • Late checkout requests are subject to availability. Please see reception the day before your departure.

Cancellation & Prepayment

  • Policies vary depending on your room type and rate selection
  • Generally there is a 24 hour cancellation policy, excluding in peak/High seasons
  • Please review the specific conditions when booking or contact our reception for assistance.
  • If booking via a third party, please contact the third party directly if there is an issue.

Refundable Damage Deposit

  • A refundable AUD $200 deposit is required on arrival via credit card
  • This will be returned within 14 days of check-out, subject to a satisfactory inspection of the unit

Children & Beds

  • Children of all ages are welcome
  • Children aged 3 and above are charged as adults
  • To ensure accurate pricing, please include the number and ages of children in your booking

Cot and Extra Bed Policy

  • 0–2 years: Cot available upon request – AUD $15 per child, per night
  • 3–Adult: Extra bed available upon request – AUD $35 per person, per night
  • All cots and extra beds are subject to availability. Please prebook in advance
  • Charges for cots and extra beds are not included in the total and are payable during your stay

Age Requirement

  • Minimum age for check-in is 18
  • Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian – unaccompanied minors are not able to stay.

Payment

  • Visa and Mastercard accepted
  • Please note: a 2% surcharge applies to all credit card payments
  • Direct Deposit payments are available for bookings made in advance. Please allow 5 business days prior to arrival for clearance of funds. NB Funds must be cleared in our account prior to arrival.
  • Cash is not accepted

Additional Information

  • Limited parking available – please contact reception prior to arrival for details
  • A valid credit card and matching valid photo ID are required at check-in
  • Valid cards are in the same name as the booking, or an authority form has been completed and accepted by Front Office prior to arrival
  • Special requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges
  • Electric Bikes/Scooters are not permitted anywhere on the property including but not limited to all rooms, basement and on-site car park
  • All Rooms are NON Smoking including balconies - charges may apply if found to be smoking in room
  • Sovereign Gold Coast participates in the Good to Book guest screening service and reserves the right to report serious or repeated breaches of behaviour, damage, or non-compliance with our Terms and Conditions to this service. Our hotel is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment and enforces a strict zero tolerance policy toward any abusive, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour toward staff including verbal abuse, harassment, discrimination, intimidation, threats, or physical misconduct. Guests who engage in such behaviour may be refused service or immediately evicted without refund, with involvement of Queensland law enforcement where necessary; we appreciate your cooperation in treating our team with courtesy and respect at all times
